Aims & Objectives
- Enhancement of purpose in line with the SDGs goals and best practices in various vacation.
- Engage in rural awareness and educational campaign, highlighting Human Rights, good governance, environmental, health and other issues of concern and importance to the community.
- To identify, engage and train women and youths for political leadership.
- To inform and protect the Rights of women.
- To promote peaceful co-existence of all citizens regardless of religious affiliation and ethnic origin.
- Engage and increase access to and understanding of information and statistics related to poverty. Empower women and youths by putting this information and the capacity to use it in their hands and others working to reduce poverty in our local communities.
- Create an enabling environment for gender equity.
- To acquire valuable experience and skills, MDF will embark on IT, training programme for the women and youths to boost their viability in a competitive world. Exposed youths to the challenges and solutions for helping their communities grow economically through work internships (Youth Internship Programme (YIP))

- Women Empowerment through skill acquisition, economic support via small micro-credits, scheme to petty women/youths’ traders.
- Sensitization/advocacy program, women mobilization on economic, environmental, health related issues and specifically the danger and mitigating factors of GBV.
- Prevention and provision services for survivors of Gender Based Violence by engaging them into skill acquisition and empowering with startup grants materials to support to survivors and a shelter for the period of learning the skills.
- MDF have gone out of the shore of Gombe , pressingly implementing activities in Borno, Adamawa and Yobe. This is in line with our vision to see that the poor of are poorest are economically employed
